External Quality Assurer
PurpleTurtle has its its specific areas areas for both IQA’s and EQA’s. An EQA (External Quality Assurer), observes assessment and IAQ practices, monitors teaching and delivering of an EPA, ensures a centre has up to date resources and documents, and much more. The idea of an EQA, is to ensure a non-bias individual is in place to upkeep national standards of qualifications, to review the work of IQA’s and to keep a well maintained process in place where the work of a learner is thoroughly analysed, checked and observed.
By using PurpleTurtle as an engine/platform for EPA’s to be conducted, an EQA has access through their own unique login. This enables an EQA to login to their own version of the platform. This area allows an EQA to carry out their relevant duties, input feedback and create notes into a secure, tracked and monitored system. Within PurpleTurtle an EQA can take random samples of verification feedback. These samples can be anything from exams and observations to live assessments and assignments. When verifying an IQA, the EQA has their own red, amber, green (RAG) system, which is specific to the awarding organisation. PurpleTurtle is unbelievably simplistic, in the way that an EQA has the ability to change an IQA's RAG rating based on their verification findings. PurpleTurtle provides the flexibility and for this to be viewed and tracked for monitoring purposes.
